Vine Cottage

We are situated in the small village of Pirzenthal which is just three kilometers from the town of Wissen.

An Ideal Location

The location is ideal, nestled in the nexus of two steep valleys, where the Holperbach meets the river Sieg.

A sheltered spot

The house faces south, with a steep hill behind it. We have put the Barbecue and sun terrace here. Sit at the edge of the forest in our formal garden to enjoy a drink while watching the world go by.

A shared tradition

The cottage is a fine old "Fachwerkhaus", the closest English style being the typical back and white houses of the Tudor period. The house is approximately 350 years old. The first record of the house is when the local registry was started in 1674.
